SUPERHAWKE

SYNOPSIS:

Sent to Earth as an orphan from an ongoing alien war, Amanda Hawkings was destined to fight evil as one of Earths greatest defenders, Superhawke. But neither superhuman threat nor natural disaster can ever compete with her greatest challenge in her superhero career, the fight for equal rights.

Treated by skeptical public as a sex object or caped prostitute, compared to the more positive treatment of male superheroes; targeted by a smear campaign by right-wing radio personalities and politicians, and being hailed a champion within the womens rights movement, Superhawke faced a controversial issue involving a womans place in the superhero community. Forced to balance fighting ever-threatening villains and criminals, defending equal rights, and her day job disguised as a mild mannered web designer for a multinational cable television network, Amanda faces these difficult challenges in a political hostile environment, while proving to the world that all superheroes, male and female, deserves equal treatment and respect.

Now faced with ever-increasing super-powered threats on one side, and a sexist right wing political party on another, not to mention ended up competing with an egotistic, media-savvy rival male superhero from another dimension who become an instant hit with the citys conservative bases, Superhawke fight hard to bring truth, justice, and equality in a today's ever-changing political climate.

She also has the ability to travel back and forth through time and space by twirling around in super-speed. Her transformation from Amanda to Superhawke varies between taking off her clothes, and spinning in super-speed. Her weakness is an experimental weapon called a reserve-solar beam (confiscated by criminals from remaining Allurean documents from the space ship that brough her to Earth). When this beam is fired on Superhawke, she loses her powers completely. But due to her extraordinary physiology, she can regain her powers and abilities by ingesting a Vitamin C tablet (the ascorbic acid properties mixed with her cell structure reversing the effects of the reverse solar beam). She is also vunerable to mind control. Her favorite hobbies are playing guitar and meeting people around the world (both as Amanda and Superhawke). Her favorite food is sweet and sour pork. Hair: Black
Height: 5 ft. 9 in.
Weight: 165 lbs.
Occupation: Television reporter
Base: New York City
·   Nicholas "Nick" West – Nick is Amanda’s fellow reporter and partner. Nick is a firm believer when it comes to truthful news. He hates and despises corporate news organizations (i.e. CNN and Fox News for example) for being useless lapdogs to right-wing American administrations rather than pillars of serving the people. He is one of INN’s star reporters, but he is also the network’s most angriest as well; every time theirs is a breaking news story he wants to exploit, his supervisors forcefully assigns him and his partner Amanda to meaningless assignments like celebrity sex scandals and Hollywood move premieres. Nick is determined to search for the truth, leading him to several danger situations where Superhawke, Amanda’s alter ego, rushes in and saves him. Although Nick respects women, he sometimes makes bad, sometimes harsh remarks about female superheroes: he believes that women do not have the discipline to handle such powers; something that echoes the fact that ten years ago, a superheroine was responsible, though inadvertently, for the death of Nick’s father. He favorite hobbies is reading progressive political activism books and playing poker (his favorite is Texas Hold-‘Em). His favorite food is ravioli pasta with vinaigrette dressing. He is a natural in boxing and judo, but ends up losing in a fight. He has a degree in journalism and experience in reporting entertainment stories (a subject in which he hates).

He arrived at the battle, finding Superhawke laying unconscious and took care of her against his mother’s disapproval, then later assisted Superhawke in defeating Nightmare. That led to an unconventional relationship between Superhawke and Harold. After the cancellation of the later series, Williams decided to pursue a career in journalism. A career which landed him as an anchorman in Inn’s (International News Network) primetime slot: due to the fact that he is the son of ultra-right wing media mogul William Williams Jr., the founder and current CEO of INN. Williams’ good looks and international celebrity status has made his news show the most watched on basic cable, since it primary focus and pro-Republican, pro-war news stories and celebrity gossip and interviews. Williams first encountered Superhawke in an incident where he was stalked by a rabid fan in his Manhattan hi-rise apartment. The obsessed stalker followed Williams to the parking garage, then push him over the building’s rooftop ledge, sending him to a fatal 20-story drop, until Superhawke saved him in the knick of time. Since then, Williams is obsessed with having an exclusive interview with the alien super heroine. But he is equally focused on concentrating some professional etiquette and fashion advice to a young web designer named Amanda Hawkings, who unbeknownst to him is Superhawke’s secret identity. Williams is also has friction with his star investigative report Nick West, taunting the young man to pursue more stories than can generate his show’s ratings (i.e. covering movie premieres and Hollywood celebrity sex scandals and the like) rather than to report news stories that will infuriate his father. Williams is driven by ego, always worrying more about his tailored suit and his ratings than the well-being of others. He has a legion of female fans, including his own personal assistant Gloria Stokes, however he is frequently sued for several sexual harassment cases by frustrated female co-workers. Williams is determined to one day get the interview with Superhawke, and hopefully asking her out on a date… if he is lucky. His favorite hobby is grooming his hair. His favorite food is Salisbury steak. His preferred wine is Don Rerignon ‘99.

Her nickname is “Yuki” after a certain popular anime character with the same type of hairstyle she has; also due to the fact that she is a diehard fan of anime and manga. Yuki is also a part-time lifeguard, spending her days rescuing people at the beach when she is not working with Williams. She became Superhawke’s best friend and ally since the New York heroine rescued her from falling down from a skyscraper by mobsters. Yuki is somewhat of a ditz but she has a heart of gold. When not being a flake most of the time she can be heroic and selfless when push comes to shove. Unfortunately, her selflessness leads her to trouble and winds up being the typical “damsel in distress”, and to be saved countless times by Superhawke. Her favorites hobbies are swimming, watching anime and reading manga. Her favorite food are rice cakes. She speaks fluent Japanese (she frequently visits Tokyo’s shopping districts during trips to Japan)

GLORIA STOKES
Gloria Stokes Real name: Gloria Stokes

Weight: 102 lbs.
Occupation: Cable television programming director
Base: New York City
·   Gloria Stokes – Gloria Stokes is a programming director at INN (International News Network). She is also Phoebe “Yuki” Stokes’ twin sister and Amanda Hawkings’ best friend and co-worker. She was hired by INN for her experience in world events and human relations stories, but she was later angry when her producers forced her to edit key world events into a right-wing respective. A liberal and an advocate to women’s rights, she has friction against her supervisors’ especially on news talk shows where they invite and interview more right-wing guests than left-wing. But she had noe more but to stay with the network in order to keep tabs on her bubbly sister, who works as the personal assistant of INN’s star anchorman, Will Williams II. She met Amanda Hawking oh her first day of the job and they became best friends and partners. Since the arrival of Superhawke, Gloria is ecstatic on focusing on programs dedicated to Superhawke’s heroic exploits, but is forced by the network’s CEO to make a sexist smear campaign against the Manhattan Angel, but to Gloria’s chagrin. She publicly advocated Superhawke at women’s right convention, but sometimes complains that the heroine should wear a little less skimpy costume, but that is just a small squabble compared to the great heroics Superhawke has done for the city. Gloria, compared to her sister, is the level-headed of the two; she is very overprotective of Phoebe as is always concerned about her safety in these dangerous times. Gloria is extremely feminist, believing that women should be capable of any task men do. She also has an angry and violent temper, especially towards perverts and sexual harassers. When a man (especially the semi-lecherous Will Williams III) looks at a female employee’s rear end or breasts, or says something about her underwear, Gloria charges at that person and sucker punches him into submission, or kicks him in the crouch. Despite her nasty and extra-feminist demeanor, she is otherwise kindhearted and helpful especially towards her female co-workers. Her favorite hobby is beach volleyball. Her favorite food is canned sardines. She always carries a can of mace and a stun gun for protection with stalking thugs.

CAPTAIN JUSTICE
Captain Justice Real name: Classified
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Black
Height: 6 ft. 2 in.
Weight: 280 lbs.
Occupation: Superhero
Base: New York City
·   Captain Justice – Captain Justice was once the champion of Pleasant City and Earth’s greatest defender… a parallel Earth that is. Justice patrols a dimension that has no crime or evil to fight, and very bored doing it, until an accidental one-dimensional vortex engulfed Justice, and his butler and loyal assistant Jerry Dollarsworth to our world where collided with Superhawke, and found new opportunity as a true hero. As a result, thanks to a sexist right-wing media blitz, became New York’s beloved and renowned superhero… much to Superhawke‘s dismay; thus the two became heated archrivals, with the ego-driven Justice taking credit for most of the dirty work Superhawke did, and receiving various product endorsements and movie deals in the process. Justice is an egomaniac and a media-savvy celebrity, whose purpose in life is nothing more than fame and fortune. He only does heroic deeds in front of cameras and never looked towards the needy and penniless, only rich celebrities and sports stars who call for his help so he can get attention. He does not like Superhawke’s femininity and complaints that women like her should do more “womanly” chores and suggest to them to wear more conservative clothing as opposed to tights. Despite Justice’s clean-cut public image, he can sometimes stoop up to being a lowbrow jerk when engaging in battles where the fate of the world is on the line: he lets other heroes soften up a super villain and when weakened, he takes him/her on. He trust in no one else but his butler Jerry, who is sometimes the voice of reason when push comes to shove. His favorite hobby is acting. No known favorite food. Despite sharing the same superhuman strength, speed, flight, “super-breath” and invulnerability of Superhawke, Justice lacks super-senses and energy projection among all other abilities Superhawke possess. His weakness is not from his dimension, but ours: a radioactive meteorite which recently crash landed on Earth codenamed “Lucinite”, when exposed weakens Justice strength, forcing him to steer away from the meteorite’s radioactivity in order to reserve and regain his powers. Justice now uses a Bluetooth headset and cell phone to keep contact with his butler. He also wears an optional utility belt containing various gadgets and equipment depending on mission.

During the late 1930’s, a prison asteroid from Allurea crash-landed on a remote town in Germany during the rise of the Nazi empire. Adolf Hitler sent a science team to investigate the crash. They found inside the asteroid a teenage girl, sentenced for a series of serial killings in her planet, naked and recovering from her cold confinement. Shortly after, the convict quickly adapts to her new surrounding and fell in love with Hitler, in doing so she dedicated her life in following his ruthless cause as an officer in his elite Waffen SS corps under the codename Fraulein (German for “Little miss” ). Despite what the public knows at the time, WWII was almost lost due to Allied troops overpowered by Fraulein’s superhuman destructive prowess, leading to many casualties on the Allied front. She helped thwarted the advanced Allied forces at the Invasion of Normady and destroyed half of the invading British and US battalions. During the fall of Berlin in 1945, the Allies attempted a suicidal countermeasure: thanks to Allurean documents sent from an undercover informant within the Axis forces, American scientists created a prototype which was the somewhat weaker predecessor to the infamous Red Solar energy beam projector (red solar energy is Superhawke’s only weakness) and a covert strike team is sent in advance to Berlin and eliminate Fraulein. After a bloody and apocalyptic battle between the Nazi supervillainess and the strike team, Fraulein was finally subdued by the energy beam and was immediately encased in liquid hydrogen, placing her in suspended animation. After the end of the war, he was transported to a top-secret military facility in Upstate New York for decades of confinement. Set to the present day, where US Military scientists experimented on Fraulein’s frozen body to create an army of invulnerable super-soliders. But a fatal mishap freed Fraulein from her sleep then destroyed the entire facility. Now in a different time and tormented by the death of her lover, Hitler, Fraulein is determined to continue the Furher’s ambitions and rule the world through her powers. The only person now standing in her way is also the person is to be destined as her everlasting arch nemesis, Superhawke. Von Fraulein has the same physiology, powers and abilities as Superhawke: superhuman strength and speed, flight, invulnerability, the ability to survive in space, powered vision (heat, X-Ray, telescopic), powered hand blasts (including electromagnetic), spinning teleportation, and transformation among others. She is highly trained in Third Reich-era hand-to-hand combat techniques as well as learning present day disciplines including karate and ninjistu. She is a master tactician and excels in terror tactics and espionage. With her powers, she can create man-made disasters such as tornadoes, earthquakes and tidal waves. As of Superhawke, her weakness is being projected with Red Solar Energy leaving her powerless, but has quickly learned to recharge her powers with ingesting a Vitamin C tablet.
