John Bullitt is the founder of an elite PMC containment
organization "Bullitt's Brigade" and mission field commander of the
main combat squad. Bullitt was a career special operations soldier with
the US Army Green Berets and Delta Force. One day in Afghanistan during
the height of the 2002 invasion, Bullitt and his team of Delta Force
operators were assigned to secure a Taliban stronghold in a village
north of Kabul, the country’s capital. After an dangerously
intense firefight with enemy troops, he called on the radio requesting
air support, but his commander change the coordinates in the last
second, resulting in a tragic miscalculation, killing most of his men
and scores of innocent people. Enraged, Bullitt punched his commander
violently and was court marshaled out of the military. After years of
heavy drinking, Bullitt decided to dig deep to resources from his
uncle, a head of a multi-billion dollar defense contractor, to start a
mercenary service. Its’ primary mission: to investigate and
contain Private Military Company (PMC) activities before they create
major international incidents.
Bullitt is a man is an iron will and a strong sense
of justice. But those usually noble causes are cursed with his heavy
smoking and drinking. He is also driven by money. Being drummed out of
the military and was refused veterans’ services by a corrupted
government, Bullitt believes having a well income is the only way to
survive. He also has difficulty maintaining his management of his own
rescue team: although made up of professionals, some of them are
misfits, hotheads and inexperienced soldiers who never seen much
combat. He also has a angry grudge with his uncle, billionaire arms
manufacturer David Bullitt, who believes that war is good for business
and seeks to dominate the North American weapons community as the sole
supplier for the US military. Forever haunted by that tragic mission
years ago, Bullitt tries to manage his team and his inner demons in
order to accomplish their missions. His favorite hobby is playing the
electric guitar. His favorite food is Caesar Salad.
Like most of his teammates, Bullitt is infused with
nanomachines enabling enhanced strength, agility and reflexes. He is a
well-trained, highly experienced special ops solider with expertise in
light weapons, tactics, and guerilla warfare. He is also has extensive
training in electronics, surveillance, and undercover work. Through his
uncle's defense company and his old Delta Force comrades, Bullitt has
access to the latest in military vehicles, weaponry, equipment and
top-secret technology. He is an expert in military-issue Close Quarters
Combat (CQC), as well as military-issue edge weapons melee combat. His
preferred weapon in combat is an M4A1 carbine with an M203 grenade
launcher. He is an expert driver and qualified maritime vehicle
operator.
